Every American reminisced on this day of the tragedies so long ago now known simply as 911. Our hearts were broken as citizens of this great country. I read the verses in Isaiah 9:8-13 on Sept. 11, 2012. Verse 10 says, "The bricks are fallen, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars." A great prophet of our day, Dave Wilkerson, said we, as Americans, missed the message God wants us to see. We as a people mourned, built memorials, established memorials in our hearts. And that is good as a token of love and respect for all those whose lives were taken and for all those who gave their lives while rescuing others. They are truly heroes. My heart aches for the USA and for all those who are gone and their family members, friends and co workers left behind. I cannot keep the tears away when I think about or talk about that awful day. I cry for America and those who lost loved ones. I respect each one of these. But last night at church my pastor reiterated those verses to us, the congregation, and Brother Wilkerson's message about that day so long ago. Until then I didn't understand the full impact of those verses relating to the USA. The message we missed is simple, but profound. God wants His people to truly turn back to Him and be loyal and dedicated to Him with our whole hearts, not merely lip service <i>saying</i> we will serve Him, but with actions truly serving Him. The message pierced my heart in a way I cannot put into words. I pray that I will be loyal to God and obedient to all His ways. He is Lord and wants our leaders to be Godly men and women. People who are called Christians for a reason; that Christ truly lives in them and guides them by His Spirit. Our call is to pray that God will bring this to pass in the upcoming election. God wants us to build this great nation on His principles and the truth that Jesus is Lord. God wants Americans to rebuild our relationship with Him and let Him purify our hearts and live like it. "God, please help us!"</div>

What instrument can I play now?" I waited and listened for a moment and God spoke by saying, "Your ink pen." Some of my writings are songs, some are poems that tell stories and they are all expressions of the heart inspired by God. My ink pen must write them as I get them from God and I am thankful for the gift of praise that He has given me. You may never hear my soul sing, but He does. I have always had music in me and it has always been to glorify the one who gave me this wonderful gift. Glory to my Lord and Savior, King Jesus!<br />

Cannot believe I haven't posted since March! I determined at first of 2012 I would not get so busy my head was spinning all the time. Needless to say it didn't happen. My head is spinning all the time. I intend to post much more often. Although my intentions are good, my actions sometimes do not follow. Sounds kinda like what Paul said. And, yes, I must confess sometimes it is much more serious than posting on a blog. One comforting thing though is that God is always in control all the time. Sometimes we just need to slow down and listen to Him. I, indeed, speak of myself in slowing down and listening. We, at my church, are currently studying about discerning the voice of God. It has been a very enlightening course of study by Priscilla Shirer. Joining together with other women to study God's Word is always a blessing in so many ways!Pat Rachalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09475590355693577078noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1177310131321605785.post-6540838392012861212012-03-05T14:09:00.000-06:002012-03-05T14:09:03.918-06:00READ AN eBOOK WEEK<strong>March 4-10 is Read an eBook Week. It is an author/editor's greatest fear. Well, mine anyway. A while back I posted a review on Smashwords on a phenomenal author's book (Debra Diaz) and just noticed yesterday I had a word misspelled! So what's the point? Point is, even when posting on blogs and websites we should always proofread and double check (maybe triple check?) for errors. We as authors and editors should be people of excellence. So should we not ever make mistakes? Well, that's ridiculous since we are mere human beings. But that error on my part was absolutely uncalled for. However, it doesn't change the fact that Debra Diaz is one of the best authors out there. Just remember to proof everything you write. If you find errors in this post send me an email and we will laugh together.Pat Rachalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09475590355693577078noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1177310131321605785.post-71382799197864021842011-09-15T22:07:00.000-05:002011-09-15T22:07:32.394-05:00NewCreationInspirations.comIf you haven't been to NCI yet, please drop by and visit. Leave a comment and let us know what you think. I am staying very, very busy writing. Right now I'm working on putting my poetry into print. Monumental Moments is on the back burner until I finish my poetry. An opportunity presented itself that was too good to bypass (more about that later). In addition to these I have a novel started and a couple of more books in my head and in my heart that are not on paper yet. Happy writing and many blessings on your life. <a href="http://www.newcreationinspirations.com/">NewCreationInspiratons.com</a>Pat Rachalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09475590355693577078noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1177310131321605785.post-89594753850120055942011-07-09T15:37:00.002-05:002011-08-08T16:16:35.376-05:00NCI is a REAL website!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAnSRjXYykDVeYhVGlNDa1wXO-hRnTmZC0Nvhtsv2IMI6RCYJ_CouMnAs175yAJQHbdxNVvpJGlrVJNXSiE_IN5PhDsnoxFBDMNpkoSPIuwk8UVbzqPfou_JXuVvA137-0KAqKKSpIVwwR/s1600/Beautiful+Sunset.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAnSRjXYykDVeYhVGlNDa1wXO-hRnTmZC0Nvhtsv2IMI6RCYJ_CouMnAs175yAJQHbdxNVvpJGlrVJNXSiE_IN5PhDsnoxFBDMNpkoSPIuwk8UVbzqPfou_JXuVvA137-0KAqKKSpIVwwR/s400/Beautiful+Sunset.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><b><span style="color: #e69138;">NewCreationInspirations.com</span></b> is becoming a reality as I type. Have fun. Be safe and enjoy all the great things of the season. Sun, swim, sail, READ, spend time with your kids while they are out of school, stay home and relax, cook out and invite your friends over. Got it. The possibilities are endless. Speaking of which, with God, the possibilities really are endless because He works in impossibilities. He really does. Our trust in Him is one of, if not THE, most important asset we have. Faith is believing what you cannot see--just like Abraham believed what he could not see, and it happened anyway </span><i style="color: magenta;">because</i><span style="color: magenta;"> he believed. Hebrews 11 is a great read. I am amazed every time I read the Bible. Any kind of story you like is in there. Romance, battles, drama, family drama, natural disasters, history, politics, challenges, solutions, futuristic events, how-to, social justice, friendship...well, you get the picture. </span></div>Pat Rachalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09475590355693577078noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1177310131321605785.post-85522540548165518262011-05-20T21:45:00.001-05:002011-05-20T21:50:39.772-05:00REMEMBER THE RAINBOW<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">God's Promise to All</td></tr>
</tbody></table><div style="text-align: justify;"> In light of all the terrible and destructive storms we've had lately, one could wonder, "Where is God? Doesn't He care about all the people who've suffered from these storms?" The answer is, yes, He does. By all means God is loving and kind and has plenty of compassion for those who lost homes and loved ones. Remember, in Genesis, He said He would never again destroy the earth by a flood. But that's not all there is to that. It is a covenant promise. When you see the rainbow remember the covenant and know that all is well and everything will be all right. </div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><i>Gen 9:12-17 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud, and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth. </i></div><i><br />
